Long before JCO’s Art Haus opened its doors at 805 University Avenue, Julie Jenkins, the owner of the Art Haus, was devising ways to bring affordable art into as many people’s homes as possible! This story begins in the early 2000s, when Julie was the director of the Rotenberg gallery in Boston. A posh gallery owned by a classically Bostonian family, her job there was to seek out emerging artists for the gallery’s highly-anticipated annual emerging artists show.
