About The Artwork
This portrait was inspired by a photo of a high wire performer waiting for his turn to go on. His clothes are made from pages of a book on Norman Rockwell along with some fringe stolen from the pages of a fabric design book. His shirt has an antique drawer pull found at a vintage fair. The background is raised texture numbers that help count down the minutes to his next performance.
