About The Artist
Kerri Warner sees her art as vibrant visual storytelling, rich with texture and detail, each composition combines elements inspired by everyday moments, executed with a whimsical touch. She loves the puzzle of putting together pattern and color, portraying body language and facial expressions that make the viewer stop and ponder the situation or stir a memory of time spent with friends or family. Her imagination and observation of the world around her are the driving force behind her creations.
About The Artwork
The golfer in this piece is built from a book on Bobbie Jones along with some printed papers. Real keys hang from his waist because I like keys and wanted to add a bit of 3D interest to the piece. I have had several comments about depicting Bobbie’s famous stance but as a left-handed golfer. My husband likes to call this piece “A reflection of Bobbie Jones.”
